The survey (which I’ve explained the background for in an earlier post) was answered by 171 people with an average time to complete of 01:57, so just under 2 min.

These are the overall results of the survey. Next week I’ll do some deep dive and look at the differences between what people have answered.
1. Gender?
As you can see everyone that answered identified as female or male, and as typical of the industry, most were male. All 171 respondents answered this question.
2. Do you have kid(s)?
Almost 75% of the people that answered the survey have kids. All 171 respondents answered this question.
3. Age of youngest child?
There was an error when I did this. Everyone of the 47 others, are supposed to be in the 5 or younger part, there are 55 of the respondents that are in the 5 or younger section. All 127 of the respondents that answered yes to the previous question answered this.
4. Are you a single parent?
15 of the people answered where single parents. All 127 of the respondents that answered yes to question 2 answered this.
5. What’s worst about being away from home?
This question was for all the people with kids. 128 of the respondents answered this (I did some changes to the branching later).
6. What’s worst about being away from home?
This is the same question as number 5, but without kids. 50 of the respondents answered this (I did some changes to the branching later).

170 responded to this question.
This question had a great spread, and one I’ll be checking differences on the different groups. 170 responded to this question.
9. How many days away from home (over night), for community and/or work did you have the last year?
I’m very curious to see if there’s a difference between the answers from the people traveling a lot as opposed to the once with less days away from home. All 171 respondents answered this question.
10. How many events did you attend the last year? (Local and abroad)
I’m surprised that almost the same amount of people attend 10-15 events, as there are people joining 0-3 events. All 171 respondents answered this question.
11. Do you think there a difference between genders, in general, when it comes to traveling?
This is one of the questions I was most curious about, and one I’m looking forward to dig deeper in next week. All 171 respondents answered this question.
It’s a bit strange going through this now, when in lockdown due to the Corona Virus changing the world. It will be exiting to see how this change the way people think about travel. Most of us will have enough time at home with our family, and might even long to go to events!
