To connect to a Dataverse data source you go to “Data” -> “Data sources” and select Microsoft Dataverse. Here you need to give the source a name and connect to your Dataverse server address (til is the URL of your Microsoft CRM system).
You then select the tables you want to sync to CI-D. I’ve added accounts and contacts and clicked save.
I’m now back to my data source and can see the Dataverse source refreshing.
If you have a lot of data in the tables you’re using, this can take hours, so bring some patience.
I have worked with different CRM systems for almost 10 years, and worked as a consultant with Dynamics CRM for 4 years.
Since march 2018 I have worked with Microsoft's new HR system, Dynamics 365 for Talent, and gained unique insight in the system and various HR processes.
In august 2018 I was the second in the world to pass the MB6-898 Dynamics 365 for Talent certification.
