MB-260: Identify data sources that support incremental updates

For a data source to be able to support incremental updates, it needs to be a structured, relational database and it needs:

• a primary key column that uniquely identifies records
• a date/time column that indicates when the data was last updated

In Customer Insights – Data this is now:

• Some sources in Power Query like (not a complete list)
  • Azure SQL Database
  • SQL Database
  • SAP Hana
  • Dataverse
• Azure Data Lake Storage

If a data source supports incremental updates, you’ll can edit the incremental settings after you’ve transformed the data.
